Mizu was founded in 1999 and based in the historic and culturally renowned city of Bath, South-West England. The team is a fusion of extensive backgrounds in the new media and web design arena, combining to create elegant and innovative solutions for our clients using a broad spectrum of technologies.

Our portfolio includes projects for a wide range of industries including retail, education, entertainment, B2B, and public sector.

Our most recent projects have included extensive multi-lingual content management systems and e-commerce solutions, which deliver our core specialism of using technology and design to provide engaging and usable products.

 

We can cover a broad spectrum of technology in providing the most effective solutions. But, we firmly believe that technology should never dominate the experience.

We work in small teams which we believe enables us to develop a closer relationship with our clients and we work hard to understand our client’s requirements and expectations which we hope will result in a long term partnership.

Our Philosophy

The best solutions are achieved when both the client and designer share in the idea generation phase and then carry this high level of communication through the development and implementation phases.

We are often perceived as a seamless extension to our client's organisation or project team due to the effective role that we play in projects.

We are extremely focused on quality, value, delivery and reliability. Our main objective is to design and produce solutions that are aligned with our client’s requirements and satisfy all the details within the specification. We are committed to achieving consistency throughout the production process that directly transfers into the product itself and hence the resulting experience of the user from using the product.

The word process is not always associated with the word enjoyment but at Mizu we firmly believe that our clients can fully enjoy the whole experience.

If the design and production process is done well and this results in an improved outcome then the client’s overall experience is very positive and everyone enjoys it.

Equally, if everyone involved in the project is enjoying it then the whole process is likely to go well.
